Word Study: Why is God’s name, “Elohim,” plural? – FS 03

Fruit Snacks is a five-minute podcast hosted by Steve every weekday. On Wednesdays, we’ll do a short word study and look at its implications for how we read and think about Scripture. On today’s episode, our word is one of the names for God in the Old Testament, “Elohim.” It’s grammatically plural, and that has some pretty interesting applications based on other passages where the word occurs.
